How the Georgia credit works

• The credit is 7.5% of the workers' compensation premium.
• The State Board certifies the program. The certification fee is $35.
• Each year the employer sends the certificate to the insurer.
• A self-insured employer attaches the certificate to the annual payroll report. That premium is reduced by 7.5%.
